Hospice

New Milford Visiting Nurse Hospice cares for persons with terminal illnesses and their families. These services are aimed at relieving the physical and emotional suffering of patients during the final stages of life.

Hospice care focuses on maintaining or improving the quality of life, pain and symptom management and the support of patients and their families. New Milford Visiting Nurse Hospice is Medicare certified and State of Connecticut licensed . Through this care, the sense of isolation and abandonment so often experienced by terminally ill patients is reduced. Some of the services provided include:
