The 14th annual Tea for Two Hundred garden party gala benefit is scheduled for Saturday, July 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. The proceeds of this event will benefit New Milford VNA Hospice* and the Interfaith AIDS Ministry of Greater Danbury.*
Held in the exquisite gardens at the Washington Depot home of Gael Hammer, the tea is widely considered Litchfield's social event of the season.
In keeping with tradition of past teas, this event will include a silent auction, best hat contest, and cameo musical performances. As always, white attire is requested. .
Tickets to the Tea for Two Hundred are $50, and can be purchased at the gate. Cash, personal checks, Mastercard and Visa will be accepted.
New Milford VNA Hospice, a non-profit organization, has provided care to patients and families for over 25 years. Their mission is to improve quality of life by easing pain and providing comfort. They do not replace the family in caring for a loved one. Instead, using a team approach, they provide the primary caregiver with well trained support.
Interfaith AIDS Ministry of Greater Danbury, Inc. (IAM) is a nonprofit agency offering unconditional critical support services to families facing the nutritional and physical challenges of living with HIV/AIDS while providing vital educational and prevention programs that respond to the Greater Danbury Community.
